President Obama, the American Military Commander-in-Chief had the George Bush plan for military intervention in the Middle East handed to him right after he got swore in 7 1/2 years ago….

Bush, as most of his Republican friends rallied for…Had gone LARGE…tens of thousands of combat troops to ‘liberate’ Iraq….And then a lead off to Afghanistan….

American young men and women…Common foot solider where the muscle….

That worked up front…No country on earth has been able to stop the US Military on the first go-round….

But almost every group fighting the American war machine finds out that PROLONGED fighting the American war machine WILL make this country pack up and goo home after the its troops start getting killed and THAT gets reported in the media back home….

That, and the same old thing….

Ten minutes AFTER American troops get rid of the ‘bad guys’?

The American become the occupiers and the ‘bad’ guys….

President Obama has learned the hard way that his Vice President Joe Biden on on the right path when he suggested the use of Spec Ops troops against using large numbers of combat troops in ‘surges’…

So after the President got most of the combats troops out of Iraq (He has been putting more back in these days) and cut the number of combat troops down in Afghanistan (And left thousands there)…..

He is expanding the use of American Spec Ops advisors….The combat troops (along with other Spec Ops teams from others countries) work in smaller units, they are much highly trained than the regular troops that Bush sent to fight…they are under orders to NOT get in the fight unless they have to and best of all?

They provide training for the host country troops that the US can trust and rely on, with high casualties….

The overall action comes under the President’s call to fight terror world wide by making the local militias keep busy in THEIR home turf…

And keep the US and other countries aware of things around the world that they might not be if they where not on the ground….

The operation illustrates the central but little-known role that U.S. Special Operations troops can play in helping foreign forces plan and execute deadly missions against militant targets.

In recent years, U.S. forces have provided this kind of close operational support — a range of activities including what’s known in military parlance as “combat advising” or “accompany” and “enabling” assistance — in a growing list of countries beyond the active battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, including Uganda, Mauritania, Kenya, Colombia, the Philippines and Tunisia.

Those activities have taken on greater importance as the Obama administration has scaled back the direct combat role of U.S. troops overseas and instead sought to empower local forces to manage extremist threats.

At the same time, the strategy, while low-risk to Americans, has done little to change the overall security picture in countries with deep political and economic problems. It is an approach that some analysts say may provide the partner forces — and the United States — with a false sense of security while having little lasting effect.

Much of this hands-on support has taken place in Africa, where the growth of militant groups, often allied with al-Qaeda or the Islamic State, has outpaced under-equipped and under-trained local militaries.
